Dilara Yalçın Presents a Meta-Analysis of Aging Brain RNA-seq Data at the 24th National Neuroscience Congress

Dilara Yalçın presented her research at the 24th National Neuroscience Congress, held at Boğaziçi University from 11–13 September.

Her presentation, entitled "Meta-analysis of mouse whole-brain RNA-seq datasets reveals concordant upregulation of neuroinflammatory pathways in the aging brain," focused on the molecular changes associated with brain aging.

The study brings together mouse whole-brain RNA-seq datasets through a meta-analytic approach and examines shared transcriptional patterns associated with aging, with particular emphasis on the consistent upregulation of neuroinflammatory pathways.

Presenting the work at the congress provided an opportunity to share the study with the wider neuroscience community and engage with researchers working on brain aging, neuroinflammation, and molecular neuroscience.
