Nazım Arda Keleş Awarded the EACR Congress Travel Grant to Present His Research at EACR 2026 in Budapest

Nazım Arda Keleş, a student in the Integrated PhD Program in Biotechnology at Yeditepe University, supervised by Prof. Dr. Soner Doğan and Prof. Dr. Bilge Güvenç Tuna from the Faculty of Medicine, participated in the EACR 2026 Congress in Budapest, Hungary, with the support of an EACR Congress Travel Grant awarded by the European Association for Cancer Research.

At the congress, he presented his research entitled "Longitudinal multiomic features of host fecal miRNAs and the gut microbiome reveal distinct recovery dynamics in post-operative colorectal cancer."

The EACR Congress is a major international meeting in cancer research, bringing together researchers from across Europe and around the world. The EACR Congress Travel Grant is awarded to a limited number of promising early-career researchers and provides support for congress registration, travel, and accommodation.

Nazım's participation at EACR 2026 provided an opportunity to share his research with the international cancer research community, exchange ideas with researchers working in related fields, and engage with current developments in cancer biology and translational research.
